Georgina was accepted into the highly competetive SDCF Observership program for 2016-2017.
Georgina performed with Lauren Beirne Dance Works at WestFest in the Martha Graham Studio Theater.
Georgina choreographed and performed in the stage adaptation of Crime & Punishment with The Russian Arts Theater. Full houses and lots of press!
Georgina presented "Somehow We End Up Here" for the Collaborations in Dance Festival at Triseklion Arts (November 4th, 2016)
Georgina worked as choreographer on
"Cloud Kumo," a short film surrounding aftermath of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The film has won a Student Academy Award and a CINE Golden Eagle Award. It was an official selection of Hiroshima Film Festival and New Filmmakers New York.
"Somehow We End Up Here" was presented at Freedom Concert, a fundraiser for the ACLU at Holy Trinity Church.
Georgina collaborated with theater company Necessary I.T.E.M.S Project in creating and polishing choreography for "The (Last) Station" at Planet Connections Festivity (June, 2016 http://necessaryitems.org/our-team.php)
Georgina was selected to present an evening-length work for HERE Arts Center's Sublet Co-op Series August 24-26, 8:30pm. She is creating a new piece titled "Somehow We End Up Here, Again" based on her last work. http://here.org/
